The staff at Midwest Elite Dance Center takes pride in providing the best possible service to each individual student. Motivated by their passion for the art of dance, the Midwest Elite Dance Center staff feels that they need to pass on their traditions, their skills, and their knowledge to the young athletes of today.
STACIE HAWLEY

Stacie was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and began dancing at the age of five. At age seven, she began competing regionally and nationally winning numerous awards and dance titles. Her training has been extensive in: ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern and gymnastics. In June 2008, Stacie graduated cum laude from Ohio University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance and Choreography. While attending Ohio University she was an accomplished member of the Ohio University Modern Dance Company which toured along the east coast. Stacie has danced for numerous performance companies across the United States. She has trained multiple summer seasons at Broadway Dance Center in New York and at EDGE Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles under the instruction of Gregg Russell, Blake McGrath, Doug Caldwell, Christina Woodard, Gus Giordano, and jazz legend Luigi.
Stacie has been awarded numerous choreography awards in all genres and is known for passionate and creative choreography. She has been teaching dance for fourteen years at the studio and collegiate levels. Currently, she is the artistic director and owner of Midwest Elite Dance Center. Her students excel in all genres and compete regionally and nationally.
Stacie wants all children to be able to express themselves through dance. Her philosophy is to enhance each student’s dance knowledge and artistic ability and her mission is to motivate, educate, and inspire in an energetic and positive manner. Stacie’s versatility triumphs in her choreography for dance teams, cheer squads and dancers throughout the region. Stacie enjoys judging for multiple dance competitions on the weekends across the United States. Other areas of expertise includes dance pedagogy and kinesiology. Stacie’s reputation in dance is recognized by her enthusiasm and determination for positively enriching the lives of all her students.

ABBY SESTER

Abby Sester is the Director for Midwest Athletics. She has been with Midwest Athletics since the beginning of the program 7 season ago. Abby grew up in All-Star Cheerleading and has been coaching for 10 years.
Abby has her Bachelors in Education and an Associates in Kinesiology from Northern Kentucky University. Her passion for kids, growing athletes confidence and Cheerleading as a sport has driven her to pursue her career as the Director of Cheer for Midwest Athletics.
